Restaurant Promos in the Philippines: Compare Real Savings
Published · Updated
The best restaurant promo for your meal is the one that lowers the bill for food you actually want, at a branch and time you can visit. Start with current dining offers, compare the eligible items and final cost, then check the conditions before claiming. A large advertised percentage, a free item and a group deal can deliver very different value.
Where to find current restaurant promos
Start with the live Food & Beverage listings rather than an old screenshot or a dated restaurant roundup. Narrow the list to your city, then open the individual offer. B-ticket's dining listings show offers from participating merchants; each coupon has its own conditions. An article can help you choose a restaurant, but the current coupon determines whether a particular offer can be used.
Use the Makati or Taguig listings when those areas fit your plans. Do not travel across Metro Manila solely for a headline discount without comparing the extra trip with the saving.
Compare the offer format with your actual order
Compare the meal you would order without a promo with the meal required to qualify. Extra dishes bought only to reach a minimum spend can cost more than the discount saves. Treat a complimentary item as useful value only if you want it. Its menu price is not money removed from your bill.
- Percentage discount: check which items qualify and whether the saving has a cap.
- Fixed amount off: compare the minimum eligible spend with your intended order.
- Complimentary item: confirm the required purchase and the exact item included.
- Group offer: count paying guests and qualifying guests before calculating the cost per person.
Calculate the final bill, not just the percentage
This is a hypothetical example, not a current B-ticket offer: your planned order costs ₱1,000, but only ₱800 qualifies for a 20% discount capped at ₱100. Twenty percent of ₱800 is ₱160, so the cap reduces the saving to ₱100. The order would cost ₱900 before any additional applicable charges, rather than ₱800.
Ask whether the displayed prices include taxes and service charges, and how the restaurant applies the discount. Compare both candidate meals using the same group size and inclusions. Include transport and any extra required purchase in your decision; a smaller discount at a convenient branch may suit the plan better.
Check the branch, schedule and expiry
B-ticket's FAQ says branch availability depends on the merchant and expired promos cannot be redeemed. A familiar restaurant name does not mean every branch participates. Match the coupon to your intended outlet, visit date and meal period. If a reservation is required, confirm availability before making the trip.
- Confirm the participating branch and whether the offer is dine-in or takeaway.
- Check valid days, time windows and any excluded dates.
- Read the expiry date and any separate claiming or redemption deadline.
- Check eligible menu items, minimum spend and per-person or per-table limits.
Check coupon eligibility before deciding
An offer marked Subscriber Offer requires an active B-ticket subscription. Check that requirement before choosing a meal around the advertised benefit. Claiming a coupon and qualifying to redeem it are different questions; read the selected offer's instructions and conditions.
Do not assume several promotions can be combined. B-ticket's FAQ says one promo applies per transaction unless the merchant states otherwise. If the conditions are unclear, ask the participating restaurant before ordering and retain the current offer details for reference.
Use a restaurant shortlist to choose the meal
A deal is one part of choosing where to eat. Compare cuisine, location, the type of meal and the group you are bringing before focusing on the offer. Our existing Makati Japanese and BGC Korean restaurant guides provide starting points for those specific searches. Use their restaurant links to check current details; an older offer mentioned in a guide may have ended.
For unlimited dining, also compare seating limits, included dishes and possible leftover charges. An unlimited meal and an à la carte order answer different needs, so compare what your group expects to eat.
