At a glance - 10 Korean restaurants in BGC

Korean food in Bonifacio Global City has stopped being a single street. Grill houses now sit beside noodle counters, banchan-forward kitchens, and late-night bars, and the gap between the cheapest and most expensive dinner on this list is more than ₱1,400 for two people.

We ate at all ten places between 2 and 18 July 2026, paid for every meal, and went back to three of them on a weekday to check whether the queue and the service held up. Where a restaurant has an offer on B-ticket, we redeemed it ourselves at the counter so we could describe what actually happens.

How we chose these ten

We started from 31 Korean restaurants inside BGC and the two blocks around it, then removed anything that had closed, moved, or was operating as a delivery-only kitchen. What was left was scored on five things:

  • Menu range — whether you can eat well without ordering the grill set.
  • Price for two — a full meal for two people, including drinks and service charge.
  • Wait time — observed at 7pm on a Friday, and again at 12:30pm on a weekday.
  • Accessibility — step-free entry, lift access, and whether the toilet is on the same floor.
  • Offer availability — whether a B-ticket coupon exists and what it excludes.

We did not accept free meals, and no restaurant was told in advance that we were visiting. Two owners agreed to an interview afterwards; both are cited at the end.

Quick comparison

Prices are what we paid in July 2026 for two people, including service charge where it applies.

Best for a group: Sonjip Korean Grill

Sonjip runs an unlimited pork set at ₱499 a head, and it is the only place on this list that will seat eight people without splitting the table. The extraction over each grill is strong enough that you do not leave smelling of smoke, which matters if you are coming from an office nearby.

The trade-off is the queue. We arrived at 7:10pm on a Friday and were seated at 7:52pm; the same visit on a Tuesday took nine minutes. Staff take names on a paper list at the door — there is no digital queue — so send one person ahead if your group is arriving separately.

Best value: Mapo Sikdang

Mapo Sikdang is a stew and rice kitchen rather than a grill house, and it is the only restaurant here where two people can eat properly for under ₱1,200 with no service charge added. The kimchi jjigae comes with five banchan that are refilled without asking.

“We kept the price flat for two years because the office crowd comes back three times a week. The coupon brings in the weekend people who would not have found us.”

The room is small — 24 covers — and there is a single step at the entrance. Staff will move the ramp into place if you ask, but it is not out by default.

Tip: Collect the ₱200-off coupon before you sit down. The kitchen prints the bill as soon as you ask for it, and staff cannot re-open a closed bill to apply a code.

Worth knowing: Mapo Sikdang closes for two weeks in late December. The dates change each year and are posted on the door rather than online.

Best for a quiet dinner: Hanok Table

Twelve seats, one sitting at 18:30 and another at 20:45, and a set menu that changes with what the kitchen can source. At ₱2,400 for two it is the most expensive dinner on this list, and the only one where you need to book at least a week ahead.

There is no B-ticket offer here and the owner told us there will not be one — the room fills without it. We are including it because readers asked for a Korean restaurant that works for a conversation, and this is the one.

The other seven, in brief

Each of these is worth a visit for one specific reason. Hours and offers are on each store page.

Gogi Lab

Single-seat grills along a counter. The only place here we would eat alone without feeling odd.

Seorae Alley

Open until 2am on weekends. Loud, cheap soju, decent fried chicken.

Bap & Banchan

Rice bowls from ₱280. Fast enough for a 45-minute lunch break.

Jinju Noodle Bar

Cold naengmyeon that holds up in April heat; small room, no reservations.

Chimaek House

Fried chicken and beer sets for four. Ask for the half-and-half sauce.

Tteok Street

Takeaway tteokbokki counter. Two seats only; best eaten in the park opposite.

Hyodo Kitchen

Family-run, ten tables, the most generous banchan refills we found.

What to know before you go

Service charge is not always included

Six of the ten add 10% at the till. Where a B-ticket coupon takes a percentage off the total bill, the discount is applied before service charge — so the saving is slightly smaller than the headline figure.

Parking is the real constraint

Only Sonjip and Hanok Table validate parking, and only for the building they sit in. On a Friday evening the Forbes Town car parks were full from 6:45pm onwards on both of our visits.

Coupons need to be collected before you pay

Every offer we redeemed had to be open in the app before the bill was closed. Two restaurants told us they get several requests a week from diners who ask after paying, and the till cannot reverse it.

Gogi Lab, at ₱980 for two in July 2026, followed by Mapo Sikdang at ₱1,150. Both figures include everything we ordered; Mapo Sikdang does not add a service charge.

Four of the six live offers are free to collect. The other two are marked "Free to collect with your subscription" and need a Solo or Family plan, from ₱79 a month.

Hanok Table is reservation-only. Chimaek House and Hyodo Kitchen take bookings for groups of six or more by phone. The rest are walk-in.

We re-check prices, hours, and offers every quarter, and sooner if a reader reports a change. The date at the top of the page reflects the most recent check.
